The apartment is very beautyful, spacious and offers really absolutely stunning views on Taormina, Mount Etna and the coast line. The apartment is fully renovated, clean, air conditioned, with great terraces, well kept and very tasteful decored. The apartment was exactly as described and shown on the images. It' s in a perfect position for accessing the city centre. Everything can be reached within a very short walking distance, nevertheless the surrounding are peaceful and silent. One of the major advantages is, that there is public parking (at no charge) in front of the condo. It is important to understand, that one can't park anywhere in Taormina. So having a parking right in front of the condo is a tremendous gain in comfort. Mike was a great host. Thank you for the fast communication, the many helpful hints and taking good care of our various personal needs.
Good location with parking and easy access to town centre. Plenty of utensils but no oven. Decor of apartment nice and pillows very comfortable! contact person polite.
Power goes off when you use more than one heater/air conditioner. Water went off at least twice during our stay. The last time it went off was for a whole night. As we were leaving the next morning and it did not come back on it made packing up, cleaning up, washing and toileting for 6 people very, very difficult! Also washing machine did not work and house leaked. Also, in regard to power,the switch to turn it back on was 6 floors down! Building in general in need of repair.
E' stato un soggiorno breve, ma intenso! Ci siamo trovati bene, soprattuto per il confort della casa, la vista dai terrazzi e la posizione. Abbiamo potuto rilassarci e recarci presso i ristorantini del centro di Taormina senza sforzo, solo con due passi a piedi! In più, la gentilezza del proprietario ha fatto sì che ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Lo consiglio con soddisfazione!
The apartment delivered in all aspects. It was located in the old town of Taormina just a view steps away from all sights, monuments and the main shopping street. The area was very quiet and pleasureful. The apartment was very specious, clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully equiped, internet and Tv worked smooth. Parking was possible on the street in front of the condo. The apartment was comfortably furnished and provided everything needed. We loved very much waking up in the morning and enjoying unique views on Taormina, the bay of Giardini Naxos and the coast line of Calabria. Those views are unforgetable! From nearly each room the apartment offers breath taking views. From the living room we looked at Mount Etna watching the lava running down the mountain. Most we loved having breakfast on the terrace enjoying stunning views on the Mediterranian. Our host was very gentile and provided us with very helpful travel information (where to dine well and pay little, where to go, public transport, etc) . He provided extra wood for the open fire place so we enjoyed very much having a good glass of red wine in front of the open fire. When we left he handed over some bottles of Sicilian wine and sweets. We really enjoyed very much staying in this apartment! Thank you again!
The views from this apartment could not be better. Also having Villa Antonio next door was also helpful as it is one of the best restaurants in Taormina.
You need to revise the bus schedule that is left in the apartment, it does not match the actual schedule.
